- ART: Easel painting, watercolor, collage; paper, clay, markers, crayons, gluing, and whatever else we can think of!
"Hey, your painting matches your dress!" - SCIENCE: hills, dirt, vegetable gardens, water, lizards, bugs, trees, turtle, chickens; plus ducks and lakes nearby. We theorize and investigate and then we test our theories.

- MATH: Puzzles, measuring tools, blocks, counting games, matching games, water play, stacking, sorting, balance, physics (roll ball down ramp)
- LITERACY: Books, stories, letters, puppets, many types of writing tools: we use the "Handwriting Without Tears" method to teach writing skills
- COMMUNITY: We walk around neighborhood and to the Santee Lakes, visiting with friends and neighbors and their pets. Beach with all families in summer (La Jolla Shores), field trips to special places year-round.
